• w3 Schools: the best place to learn css, html and more. explains everything very clearly and includes live examples.
• netnet Studio: Cute little robot helps you learn to code! useful for quick sketching, this site began on Netnet!
• Repth: Repth is a neocities user, their site is awesome! They have a lot of free templates that are super beginner friendly! This site actually started out with a Repth template!
• Fool Lovers: Amazing resource of icons, buttons, wallpapers & css snippets. even if you are not into the cute style i'd still reccomend checking it out!
• Website Tools: great archive of tilable backgrounds! there's a background generator too!
• Broider: Awesome wee tool for making custom css borders!
• Dither Me This: Really useful tool for dithering images, reduces file size and looks really cool too!

Art Research:

• Tv Tropes: Wiki of all kinds of tropes found in media, including lists of where trope can be seen! Really useful for character building if you enjoy tropey shit like i do.
• Settei Dreams: Massive catalogue of character sheets, production guides, etc. from many different anime productions.
• Character Design References: Similar to Settei Ddreams, AMAZING catalogue of production drawings from various anime, cartoons and animated films.
